REGIONAL SALES POSITION AVAILABLE
GapVax, Inc., a nationally recognized manufacturing business, is seeking a talented, highly motivated individual to fill a full-time Sales Position in the Midwest (Iowa based preferred) region. GapVax is the leading manufacturer of industrial and municipal vacuum units and hydro-excavation units in the United States. We provide the most reliable, comprehensive, and efficient mobile vacuum units in the industrial and municipal markets. The Regional Sales Representative will identify and qualify new prospects as well as maintain existing customer accounts. The sales representative will be responsible for both direct business as well as providing technical and sales support to GapVax Dealers in the Midwest territory. This position requires accurate planning and forecasting and the sales manager reports directly to the VP of Sales.
The incumbent will:
Have a minimum of 10 years experience relating to the mobile equipment industry.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships within assigned territory.
Operate/demonstrate entire product line
(following a comprehensive training course from GapVax).
Possess good mechanical, hydraulic, & electrical aptitude.
Be willing to assist customers with minor repairs or warranty work.
Have or obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Be required to travel up to 80% of the time.
Possess basic proficiency in MS Word, Outlook/Email, Excel, Power Point, and Internet.
Compensation:
Base pay plus commission
