SENIOR DESIGNER/DRAFTSMAN
GapVax, Inc., a leading manufacturer of Industrial and Municipal Vacuum Trucks and accessories, is in search of a Senior Designer/Draftsman.
The candidate will be responsible for generating 2D & 3D models and associated fabrication drawings with AutoCAD & Pro-E design platforms. The candidate will work closely with other designers, engineers and manufacturing personnel to ensure that products are reliable and quality focused. Primary duties will consist of design and preparation of drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and product technical documentation.
Must be proficient with Pro Engineer Wildfire 4.0 and Intralink / PDMLink Computer Aided Design and modeling software.
Knowledge of design development, mathematics, analytical geometry, trigonometry, human and safety factors of design, materials usage, manufacturing concepts, processes and techniques.
Experience in a heavy steel welding fabrication shop environment.
Ability to research and quickly assimilate data using written and verbal skills to communicate ideas, concepts, requirements and/or standards.
Should be able to perform measurements, tolerance studies, and check interface relationships of parts and assemblies.
Familiar with manufacturing processes and comfortable collaborating with engineers and manufacturing personnel.
Design and modeling experience is required.
Proficiency in the computer support programs of Microsoft Office.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Must be a team player and demonstrate ability to succeed in team environment.
Associates Degree in Mechanical Drafting and Design with a minimum of five years
Pro-E & AutoCAD experience.

GapVax, Inc., a nationally recognized manufacturing business, is seeking a talented, highly motivated individual to fill a full time Sales Position in the West (Salt Lake City preferred) regions. GapVax is one
of the leading manufacturers of industrial and municipal vacuum units and hydro-excavation units in the United States. We provide the most reliable,
comprehensive, and efficient mobile vacuum units in the industrial and municipal markets.
The Regional Sales Representatives will identify and qualify new prospects as well as maintain existing customer accounts. The sales representatives
will be responsible for both direct business as well as providing technical and sales support to GapVax Dealers in their assigned territories.
This position requires accurate planning and forecasting and the sales manager reports directly to the VP of Sales.
The incumbent will:
Have a minimum of 10 years experience relating to the mobile equipment industry.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships within assigned territory.
Operate/demonstrate entire product line
(following a comprehensive training course from GapVax).
Possess good mechanical aptitude.
Be willing to assist customers with minor repairs or warranty work.
Have or obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Be required to travel up to 80% of the time.
Possess basic proficiency in MS Word, Outlook/Email, Excel, Power Point, and Internet.
