We use Google Analytics to tell us your general location (Johnstown, PA, for example), and the type of device you’re using (iPhone, for example), and which page you’re on (homepage, for example). But no personal information is obtained by us (like name, or email, or address) through the Google Analytics service. We don’t really know what Google does. We use Zopim for the chat tool. They have an analytics platform that stores information similarly to Google Analytics (like general location and the page you’re on). If you don’t want your personal information stored by Zopim, don’t enter your personal information in the chat box.

If you ask for a quote or to be contacted through our web forms, we'll ask for your name, email address and phone number. We use that to communicate with you about your request. But we don't share that information outside of GapVax.

We don’t use cookies or pixel tags, but we do use localStorage. It’s a bit of information that is stored on your computer and accessed if you revisit the site. But we don’t have access to that information unless you submit the final form with your email address and phone number. In our view, it’s the best way to give you the convenience of not typing the same information repeatedly, without sacrificing your privacy.

We also use Constant Contact for newsletter and job posting subscriptions. You can unsubscribe from those lists at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails.

If you ask to be contacted – either by submitting a contact form, quoting tool, or subscription services, we may call you or send you emails. If you provide your mailing address, we may send you promotional material in the mail.
